Little Medical School \u2013 Future Pediatrician<\/h1>\n

Little Medical School – Future Pediatrician class takes a new twist on the traditional expectant sibling offerings. Using our successful role-playing techniques, students will assume the role of a pediatrician and learn how to hold the baby, do an exam just like a real doctor, change a diaper and keep the baby safe. Each Future Pediatrician will receive a disposable white coat, luxury plush baby, an exclusive mini Baby Box\u00ae for safe sleeping, activity sheets and a birth certificate.<\/p>\n

This course was designed by a team of board-certified physicians and is led by a trained and background-checked instructor passionate about sharing their medical knowledge with our students. Watch your child beam with pride when he or she earns a diploma on graduation day!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A Baby is Born<\/h3>\n

Our medical students will understand what it is to be a Little Pediatrician and what do we expect when a baby is born.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Caring for Baby<\/h3>\n

Students will learn how to perform a newborn baby examination, practice putting on a diaper and learn about diaper rash and how to prevent it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The 3 B\u2019s\u2026. Burps, Bottles and Baths!<\/h3>\n

We will discuss why a baby burps and practice ways to burp a baby, learn how to feed a baby and how to give a baby a sponge bath!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Emergencies and Vaccinations!<\/h3>\n

Students will be equipped with emergency skills like CPR and Heimlich maneuvers. The importance of vaccinations will also be discussed!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Preparing for a Sibling!<\/h3>\n

Students will learn how to keep a baby safe when they sleep, discuss what is a Finnish Baby Box and get to make their own, and how to soothe a baby to sleep.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Medical Fun and Pediatrician School Graduation<\/h3>\n

Students will learn about the path to become a Pediatrician, plan what their dream job will look like and graduate from Little Pediatrician School.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    *To ensure our instructors may provide personal attention to every student, we recommend 8-12 students per class. For larger groups, we will provide multiple instructors and separate the group into smaller classes.
