Little Medical School \u2013 Calgary is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all our students and staff. Currently, the risk of exposure of COVID-19 in Alberta is still assessed as low, but please be assured that we are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and we will continue to take appropriate action as the situation evolves.<\/p>\n

We will be practicing good hygiene recommendations from Alberta Health Services, CDC and the community center\u2019s\/school\u2019s standards and we encourage everyone to participate as well.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
We are currently reviewing our protocols to see that we are adhering to standards and will be implementing additional protocols: We highly recommend all the students to wash their hands with soap and water before taking them to the class and also at the end of the class. We dearly request this procedure in cooperation with you parents so we can start on time. We will also review with them the proper hand-washing techniques. As we always do, we will have our instructor equipment and materials sanitized. The students\u2019 individual materials: white coats, plush dogs, stethoscopes, markers, etc. will be put in individually named bags. We will also constantly remind students to avoid touching their face, nose or mouth with unwashed hands.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
May we also ask, that if you or child feels sick, to stay at home and away from others. We will also do the same for our instructors to advise to stay at home if they feel sick and we will find alternative arrangements.<\/p>\n

As a company grounded in health awareness, it is imperative for us to monitor the situation, practice the latest guidelines and recommendations by the health authorities, and educate our students. We appreciate everyone\u2019s cooperation in this trying times. Together with you parents, we are positive that we can help fight the spread, and use this as a very good learning\/educational opportunity for kids.<\/p>\n

We will continue to monitor the situation, coordinate with our partner locations: community\/recreation centers and schools, and keep parents advised. Please feel free to reach out and let us know if you have any questions or concerns.<\/p>\n
