Little Veterinarian School helps that young passion come alive with a fun educational program using role play, activities and crafts to explore the world of veterinary medicine. In this six-hour instructor-led course, students will learn to assess the health of a pet feline, learn about animal nutrition, learn how to care for stitches and check for ticks, learn about the many veterinary professions there are and much, much more.<\/p>\n<p>The Little Veterinarian School curriculum was designed by a team of board-certified physicians and is led by a trained and background-checked instructor passionate about sharing medical knowledge with aspiring young learners. A must for young animal lovers!<\/p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/littlemedicalschool.com\/baltimore\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/51\/2018\/04\/vet.jpg\" \/>\n<h2>COURSE CLASSES<\/h2>\n<h3>Greeting our Cat Patient<\/h3>\n<p>Students learn how to bring a cat to the veterinarian, how to greet a cat, and describe the body scoring condition for their pet.<\/p>\n<h3>Tip to Tail Feline Exam<\/h3>\n<p>Students learn to describe the exam for a cat, find out where to listen to a cat\u2019s heart and where a feline thyroid is.\u00a0 importance of proper nutrition and eating proper foods in keeping a dog healthy and growing properly.<\/p>\n<h3>Cat Body Language<\/h3>\n<p>Students learn to know several areas of the body we look at to tell if a cat is interested in being pet or not and the signals cats are giving off to tell if they are uncomfortable being touched or are more open to being approached.<\/p>\n<h3>Cat Home Life!<\/h3>\n<p>Students learn the important aspects of home life that a veterinarian should ask about in their history, learn what environmental enrichment means and some ideas for providing cat enrichment, and things that cats may prefer or avoid when it comes to their litter box.<\/p>\n<h3>Stress Free Cat<\/h3>\n<p>Students will learn what causes stress for a cat and strategies to reduce stress, and how to make their own cat toy.<\/p>\n<h3>Veterinary Fun and Graduation!<\/h3>\n<p>Students learn the types of jobs available to veterinarians, design their own Vet clinic and obtain their Graduation diploma!<\/p>\n<a title=\"Register\" href=\"https:\/\/littlemedicalschool.com\/chicagowest\/registration\/\">REGISTER<\/a>\n<p>&amp;nbsp<\/p>\n<h2>QUICK FACTS<\/h2>\n<h3>Duration:<\/h3>\n<p>6 hours of total instruction, your choice of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Six 1-hour sessions<\/li>\n<li>Three 2-hour sessions<\/li>\n<li>One 6-hour session<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Class Size:<\/h3>\n<p>8-12 students per class, recommended*<\/p>\n<h3>Age Range:<\/h3>\n<p>6-12 years (regular curriculum)<\/p>\n<p>3-5 years (pre-reader curriculum)<\/p>\n<h3>What LMS Provides:<\/h3>\n<p>One trained LMS instructor per class and a &#8220;Veterinarian\u2019s Bag\u201d activity kit for each student to keep<\/p>\n<p>*To ensure our instructors may provide personal attention to every student, we recommend 8-12 students per class. For larger groups, we will provide multiple instructors and separate the group into smaller classes.
