Is LMS a STEAM program?
Little Medical School brings medicine, science, and the importance of health to children in a fun and entertaining way. Through hands-on activities, roleplay, and interactive curriculum, children learn how the body works and how to use real doctor's tools. Little Medical School believes a curriculum based on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) will provide students with a strong foundation to pursue careers in medicine. Whether utilizing Science to understand anatomy, Technology to better utilize patient information, Engineering to develop solutions to complex medical issues, Art to develop critical thinking skills, or Math to calculate the proper dose of medication, Health and STEAM are inseparable. Yet, beyond our focus on learning and critical thinking – our most important function is to INSPIRE a greater understanding of health and career options.
