SUMMARY:Little Veterinarian (Equine) Summer Camp at Lipscomb Academy
DESCRIPTION:Calling all veterinarians and horse lovers! \nKids will learn all about becoming a veterinarian and how to care for horses through fun and creative hands-on activities in this unique summer camp. These future veterinarians will learn the anatomy of horses\, proper horse care\, and more. Students will go home with models\, worksheets\, and their own horse plushie “patient”. We will begin with a white coat ceremony and end with a graduation ceremony.                \nThis is an experience full of STEM-based learning\, activities\, and crafts. \nOur teachings are based on STEM principles. We aim to ignite the passion of future healthcare heroes and get them excited about how the body works\, as well as the importance of health! Your child will return home with materials to show you what they learned. Of note\, all the necessary materials for each class are provided to students. \nBoard-certified physicians and experts in the field of child education have collaborated to write our curriculum. Our instructors are well-trained and they have an interest in health sciences and education. They will deliver fun\, engaging\, and interactive content. Additionally\, all our instructors are background checked. \nYour kid will make new friends as teamwork\, role-playing and collaboration are key parts of our activities. Your child will have an unforgettable time filled with lots of fun! \n filled with lots of fun\, fun…and fun!   \nAbout the location \n\n\n\n\n\n\nLipscomb Academy is a premier private\, college preparatory\, Christian school serving students from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade\, located in Nashville\, Tennessee\, United States. They place a strong emphasis on nurturing with intentionality and operating with excellence. Therefore\, we are happy to partner with Lipscomb Academy for this program!\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSafety procedures \nKeeping in mind the safety of our children\, staff\, and volunteers\, we follow applicable public health guidelines. All children are expected to abide by the safety rules in class. With this in mind\, before beginning our sessions\, our team sets safety expectations with kids if needed. These include but are not limited to the following:  \n\nActivity safety rules \nPlaytime safety rules \nOutdoor rules \n\nFor K-5th graders. This program will take place on June 2-5\, 2025 . SUMMARY:Forensic Medicine Summer Camp at Lipscomb Academy
DESCRIPTION:Unleash Your Inner Detective and learn how to solve a crime!\nSTEM Sleuths: Forensic Medicine Summer Camp will help students who have completed 7-10 year olds in exploring forensic science through hands-on experiments in fingerprinting\, shoe prints\, chromatography\, composite drawing\, facial reconstruction\, toxicology\, and handwriting analysis. The class concludes with students solving a crime together. \nAbout the location \n\n\n\n\n\n\nLipscomb Academy is a premier private\, college preparatory\, Christian school serving students from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade\, located in Nashville\, Tennessee\, United States.
