SUMMARY:Future Doctor Summer Camp at Lipscomb Academy
DESCRIPTION:Calling all doctors! \nKids will learn all about becoming a doctor through engaging hands-on activities in this unique summer camp. These future doctors will learn the anatomy and functions of the heart and lungs\, what is in a doctor’s bag\, and more. Students will go home with models\, worksheets\, and their own stethoscopes! We will begin with a white coat ceremony and end with a graduation ceremony.  \nThis is an experience full of STEM-based learning\, activities\, and crafts.  \nOur teachings are based on STEM principles. We aim to ignite the passion of future healthcare heroes and get them excited about how the body works\, as well as the importance of health! SUMMARY:Ocean Explorers – Marine Biologist Summer Camp at Lipscomb Academy
DESCRIPTION:Calling all Marine Biologists! \nDive into the world of marine biology on this extraordinary expedition! Our program gives participants a hands-on\, dynamic introduction to sea turtles. Each participant will become the caretaker of a plush sea turtle\, conduct health checks\, explore the diversity of sea turtle species\, and join a team effort to rescue and release a plush Leatherback sea turtle back into the wild. The adventure concludes with a special graduation ceremony\, where participants are equipped to advocate for the protection of sea turtles! We will begin with a white coat ceremony and end with a graduation ceremony.  \nThis is an experience full of STEM-based learning\, activities\, and crafts.  \nOur teachings are based on STEM principles.
