Healthcare: It\u2019s Not Just A Job, It\u2019s An Adventure<\/b><\/h1>\n

This program is a 6-hour enrichment program for 5 to 11-year-olds, offering hands-on learning about the role of different healthcare heroes. Participants will learn about the brain, our eyes, and more, culminating in their informal graduation as Little Doctors! Farmington Elementary is excited to offer this program!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This is an experience full of STEM-based learning, activities, and crafts.<\/p>\n

Our teachings are based on STEM principles. We aim to ignite the passion of future healthcare heroes and get them excited about how the body works, as well as the importance of health! Your child will return home with materials to show you what they learned. Of note, all the necessary materials for each class are provided to students.<\/p>\n

Board-certified physicians and experts in the field of child education have collaborated to write our curriculum. Our instructors are well-trained and they have an interest in health sciences and education. They will deliver fun, engaging, and interactive content. Additionally, all our instructors are background checked.<\/p>\n

Your kid will make new friends as teamwork, role-playing and collaboration are key parts of our activities. Your child will have an unforgettable time filled with lots of fun!<\/p>\n

About the location<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Sacred Heart School<\/a> is a Catholic elementary school that serves children in grades Pre-K – 8 in North Mississippi. Founded in 1947, they offer students opportunities for enrichment and more. Therefore, we are happy to partner with Sacred Heart School for this program!<\/p>\n

Keeping in mind the safety of our children, staff, and volunteers, we follow applicable public health guidelines. All children are expected to abide by the safety rules in class.
