Calling all doctors!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h1>\n

24 high school students will compare the differences between frog and human anatomy. Students will identify and describe the organs inside a synthetic frog model, gaining an in-depth understanding of these structures and the bodily processes in
\nwhich they are involved. In a warm-up lab, students will talk through the ethical issues related to dissecting real animals, to help them learn about the benefits of animal-free research and understand the role that ethics plays in scientific methods. This is a PETA \u2013 Teach Science Program: Kind Frog.<\/p>\n

This is an experience full of STEM-based learning, activities, and crafts.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Our teachings are based on STEM principles. We aim to ignite the passion of future healthcare heroes and get them excited about how the body works, as well as the importance of health! Your child will return home with materials to show you what they learned. Of note, all the necessary materials for each class are provided to students. At the end of the session, the program ends with an informal graduation ceremony where each student receives a personalized diploma.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Board-certified physicians and experts in the field of child education have collaborated to write our curriculum. Our instructors are well-trained and they have an interest in health sciences and education. They will deliver fun, engaging, and interactive content. Additionally, all our instructors are background checked.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Your kid will make new friends as teamwork, role-playing and collaboration are key parts of our activities. Your\u00a0child will have an unforgettable time filled with lots of fun, fun\u2026and fun!\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

About the location<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Riverdale School<\/a> is a PreK-8th\u00a0<\/sup>grade school located in Germantown, Tennessee, east of the city limits of Memphis. They currently serve over 1,200 students and pride themselves on fostering a culture of collaboration not only in the classroom but also seeks to involve the whole school community. Therefore, we are happy to partner with Riverdale School for this program!<\/p>\n
