Through interactive demonstrations and pharmacy-themed activities, students develop a knowledge and respect for the importance of medicines and how to handle them safely. They\u2019ll learn about pharmacists\u2019 tools \u2013 even get their own mortar and pestle to take home \u2013 and learn how medications work in the body to make patients better. They also learn important safety information, such as how to handle poisonings and when to call 911.<\/p>\n<p>The Little Pharmacy School curriculum was designed by a team of board-certified physicians and is led by a trained and background-checked instructor passionate about sharing medical knowledge with aspiring young learners.
