Potential Instructors

What level of education do I need?

The ideal instructor is a current college or graduate student pursuing a career in a healthcare related field such as pre-med or medicine, pre-vet or veterinary medicine, dentistry, nursing, paramedic, physician assistant, pharmacy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy.  However, since this role involves working with kids, we are also looking for individuals who are enthusiastic, able to keep the kids engaged, and love working with children.

Do I have to be a pre-medical student to be an instructor?

No. While our instructors are primarily college or graduate students who are working in or pursuing careers in the healthcare field (pre-med/medical students, pre-dent/dental students, pre-vet/veterinary students, PA students, nurses or nursing students), anyone with a passion for working with children and an interest in science and health can apply.
