Little Medical School inspires young minds by sharing our passion for learning, health and careers in medicine. Through hands-on activities, role-play, and interactive demonstrations, children explore the exciting world of healthcare. All programs are written by experienced educators, board-certified physicians and trained healthcare professionals. Our classes are led by a trained Little Medical School® Instructor.
At Little Doctor School, students will assume the role of a doctor and learn how the body and organs work, how to use medical instruments, administer first aid, and even tie knots like a real surgeon.
Teen Medical School is an advanced Little Doctor School for middle and high school students. Students will learn about skin, blood, surgery techniques, reading an EKG, and the process of becoming a pre-med student.
At Little Pediatrician School, students will assume the role of a pediatrician and learn how to hold a baby, do a head-to-toe exam, change a diaper, and keep a baby safe.
At Little Nutrition School, students will role-play the key responsibilities of a dietician and learn about healthy eating habits. These future nutritionists will create fun recipes and discover more about the five food groups, healthy snack combinations, and global foods!
At Sea Turtle Explorers, students will dive into the world of marine biology. On this extraordinary expedition students will become the caretaker of a plush sea turtle, conduct health checks, explore the diversity of sea turtle species, and join a team effort to rescue and release a Leatherback sea turtle back into the wild.
At Journey through the Body, Students will explore the amazing world of anatomy! They will learn about the systems of the body and how they work together to make us work! Students will start with the structures that hold us together, then learn about how the body moves things around, protects us and perceives the world around us.
At Little Veterinarian School, students will assume the role of a veterinarian and learn how to preform a nose-to-tail exam, the importance of proper nutrition, preform a tick check, and identify animal body language. Est. 2016
At Sports Medicine School, students will explore the roles of an athletic trainer and orthopedic surgeon. Within these professions they will diagnose and treat common sports injuries such as sprains, strains, and athlete’s foot.
At Wilderness Medicine School, students will learn about many of the dangers in the wild such as bug bites, snake bites, and poisonous plants as well as learn how to splint a broken leg, tie a tourniquet, and filter dirty water.
Unleash Your Inner Detective and learn how to solve a crime! Exploring forensic science through hands-on experiments in fingerprinting, shoe prints, chromatography, composite drawing, facial reconstruction, toxicology, and handwriting analysis.
At STEM Career Exploration, students will jump into the world of healthcare careers with fun, hands-on activities! They will discover what makes nursing, dentistry, surgery, pediatrics, and nutrition exciting career choices. The experience culminates in a fun ‘Match Day’ ceremony where students pick their favorite career path, sparking curiosity and a love for STEM.
