What is the cost of each six week session?<\/div>
Registration costs can vary between $150-$200 depending on the class and the additional fees added on with each school.<\/div><\/div>\n
What is included in each six week session?<\/div>

Each week, your child will have an hour long class led by a trained Little Medical School instructor. A graduation ceremony will be held during the last class where your child will receive a Little Medical School diploma!\u00a0 Take home medical equipment varies by class. \u00a0See the individual\u00a0programs<\/a>\u00a0for details.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

Where are the classes being held?<\/div>

The standard six week long programs\u00a0are usually held at your child\u2019s school. You will see the location when you register your child for the class. Camps will be held at various locations which will be shown on the registration page.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

Are the instructors thoroughly background checked?<\/div>

Absolutely! Your child\u2019s safety is a top priority for Little Medical School of San Antonio. \u00a0Each instructor and volunteer must pass a thorough background check before being hired or allowed to teach classes.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

Where are the Birthday Parties held?<\/div>

The great thing about this is YOU get to decide where to have your party! The possibilities are virtually endless! We will come to a location of your choice to lead a fun-filled, unique and educational program for your child\u2019s birthday.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

Our curriculum can be used from Pre-K to around 7th grade. \u00a0Content and teaching style will vary depending on the age group we are instructing.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

Who will be instructing the classes?<\/div>

Our instructors are primarily college students or recent graduates who are pursuing careers in the healthcare field. This includes pre-med\/medical students, pre-vet\/veterinary students, pre-dent\/dental students, PA students, nurses and nursing students. \u00a0We may also have some teachers\/education majors with an interest in healthcare as well.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

What level of education do I need?<\/div>

The ideal instructor is a current college or graduate student pursuing a career in a healthcare related field such as pre-med or medicine, pre-vet or veterinary medicine, dentistry, nursing, paramedic, physician assistant, pharmacy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy.\u00a0 We also welcome teachers\/education majors with an interest in science and healthcare.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

Do I have to be a pre-medical student to be an instructor?<\/div>

No. While our instructors are primarily college or graduate students who are working in or pursuing careers in the healthcare field (pre-med\/medical students, pre-dent\/dental students, pre-vet\/veterinary students, PA students, nurses or nursing students), anyone with a passion for working with children and an interest in science and health can apply.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

How do I apply for a position with LMS of San Antonio?<\/div>

Pay will start at $16 per hour with potential incentives\/bonuses to be discussed after you have successfully taught some classes.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
