Teaching your child to be compassionate toward others is important! The first five years of a child’s life are a time of rapid development, and the values and abilities they acquire during this time will lay the groundwork for a happy, healthy childhood and beyond. As a result, caring is a crucial component of our approach, and students receive first-hand instruction on how healthcare professionals like doctors or nurses foster a loving environment.
How We Foster Care In the Classroom
Our programs place a strong emphasis on caring for others. Through art, music, role-playing, and other activities, kids in Little Medical School enrichment programs learn about crucial character traits like compassion for others.
Children are taught by our instructors that helping others improves the world for all. Students directly use these soft skills they are learning in our programs with their plushie patients and friends!
How You Can Foster Care At Home
Showing how we can treat others outside of the classroom is also important. Being kind to others will help your child learn how to interact with others because young children are keen observers and pick up a lot from what their parents do. Making cards with your child is a simple way to demonstrate the value and effectiveness of kindness!
