Working with Little Medical School\u00ae<\/sup> has been one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had. I got involved because I believe early exposure to health education and hands-on learning can truly spark a lifelong passion for science.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Teaching children about the human body, learning how to do a full body examination on a pet, or learning how to take fingerprints in such an interactive way has not only been fun, but also deeply meaningful. It is incredible to watch students light up when they realize they can be the doctor, the scientist, or the problem solver.<\/p>\n

Through this experience, I’ve gained a deeper appreciation for early education, and I’m excited to keep helping these kids nurture their love of learning.<\/p>\n

Being part of influencing younger generations to pursue a career in healthcare is what instantly drew me to being part of Little Medical School\u00ae<\/sup>. Healthcare is such an important field, and influence and motivation are so important.<\/p>\n

So being able to be that motivator to children at a young age is inspiring and fulfilling. The children involved in the programs are always engaged and truly are passionate about healthcare, which makes teaching easy.<\/p>\n

Through these programs, I’ve learned patience, leadership skills, and organization, and I hope to bring the motivation I bring to future healthcare professionals in my own life.<\/p>\n

Being part of Little Medical School\u00ae<\/sup> has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I joined because I’ve always had a passion for working with kids and sharing my love for science in a way that’s fun and accessible.<\/p>\n

Teaching with them has helped me develop confidence, creativity, and communication skills that I know will serve me well in the future, especially in healthcare. It’s inspiring to see how curious and excited our students get, and I’ve learned just as much from them as I’ve taught.<\/p>\n

FAQs<\/p>\n\t\t\tWho is eligible to apply to be a volunteer?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t

You must be 16+ to volunteer with us, have a reliable sense of transportation, be able to pass a Level 2 background check, like working with kids, and be able to commit to at least once a week for 6 months with us.<\/p>\n\t\t\tWhat is the expected time committment?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t

You must be able to commit to at least one day a week after-school for 6 months in order to join our volunteer team.<\/p>\n\t\t\tWhat if I don’t have my own vehicle?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t

That’s totally fine! But we hold our volunteers to the same standards as the rest of our team.
