We’re mobile! We don’t have a physical location. Instead, we work through our school partners, delivering programs to our communities in the form of after-school programs and summer camps.<\/p>\n\t

When we started Little Medical School\u00ae<\/sup>, we weren’t just thinking about teaching what kind of jobs there are in medicine. We were thinking about sparks, the kind that light up in a child’s eyes when they discover something new, something meaningful, something that just might change their world.<\/p>\n

From the beginning, we believed that education could be more than just information transfer. Instead, we thought what if it felt more like storytelling, creativity, or discovery? What if kids could explore the world of healthcare not through lectures, but through play, imagination, and hands-on experiences that stick with them for life?<\/p>\n

That’s the world we’re building, and we’re looking for people who want to help us shape it.<\/p>\n

At Little Medical School\u00ae<\/sup> of the Treasure Coast, we bring medicine, science, and health to life in creative and unexpected ways. Whether it’s turning a classroom into a mini vet clinic or helping a kindergartener do a suture for the first time, our work is about more than lessons; it’s about igniting curiosity, building confidence, and showing kids that they’re capable of really amazing things.<\/p>\n

To do this, we’ve built a team as diverse as the kids we serve. Pre-med students, current educators, healthcare professionals, and lifelong learners, all united by a passion for empowering the next generation.<\/p>\n

Working with Little Medical School\u00ae<\/sup> has been one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had. I got involved because I believe early exposure to health education and hands-on learning can truly spark a lifelong passion for science.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Teaching children about the human body, learning how to do a full body examination on a pet, or learning how to take fingerprints in such an interactive way has not only been fun, but also deeply meaningful. It is incredible to watch students light up when they realize they can be the doctor, the scientist, or the problem solver.<\/p>\n

Through this experience, I’ve gained a deeper appreciation for early education, and I’m excited to keep helping these kids nurture their love of learning.<\/p>\n

Jake is currently a neuroscience student at the University of Miami and serves as an volunteer in South Miami.<\/p>\n\tRead Jake’s story\n\t\t\t\t\"Darn\n\t\t\t

Being part of influencing younger generations to pursue a career in healthcare is what instantly drew me to being part of Little Medical School\u00ae<\/sup>. Healthcare is such an important field, and influence and motivation are so important.<\/p>\n

So being able to be that motivator to children at a young age is inspiring and fulfilling. The children involved in the programs are always engaged and truly are passionate about healthcare, which makes teaching easy.<\/p>\n

Through these programs, I’ve learned patience, leadership skills, and organization, and I hope to bring the motivation I bring to future healthcare professionals in my own life.<\/p>\n

Darn recently completed her Bachelor’s in Biomedical Sciences and served as an instructor in West Palm Beach.<\/p>\n\tRead Darn’s story\n\t\t\t\t\"Berke\n\t\t\t

Being part of Little Medical School\u00ae<\/sup> has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I joined because I’ve always had a passion for working with kids and sharing my love for science in a way that’s fun and accessible.<\/p>\n

Teaching with them has helped me develop confidence, creativity, and communication skills that I know will serve me well in the future, especially in healthcare. It’s inspiring to see how curious and excited our students get, and I’ve learned just as much from them as I’ve taught.<\/p>\n

I’m grateful to be part of a program that makes learning about health professions so engaging and meaningful!<\/p>\n

You must be 16+ to join our team, have a reliable sense of transportation, be able to pass a Level 2 background check, like working with kids, and be able to commit at least 6 months if you’re looking to volunteer and at least 1 year if you’re looking to be a paid per-diem instructor.<\/p>\n\t\t\tWhat is the expected time committment?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t
