Kind Science Frog Dissection Summer Camp

July 8 @ 9:00 am - July 9 @ 12:00 pm UTC+0

$25

Calling all doctors!

24 high school students will compare the differences between frog and human anatomy. Students will identify and describe the organs inside a synthetic frog model, gaining an in-depth understanding of these structures and the bodily processes in
which they are involved. In a warm-up lab, students will talk through the ethical issues related to dissecting real animals, to help them learn about the benefits of animal-free research and understand the role that ethics plays in scientific methods. This is a PETA – Teach Science Program: Kind Frog.

Safety procedures

Keeping in mind the safety of our children, staff, and volunteers, we follow applicable public health guidelines. All children are expected to abide by the safety rules in class. With this in mind, before beginning our sessions, our team sets safety expectations with kids if needed. These include but are not limited to the following:

  • Activity safety rules
  • Playtime safety rules
