Little Doctor School at Memphis Jewish Community Center
August 21 @ 4:30 pm - September 25 @ 5:30 pm UTC+0
Calling all doctors!
Kids will learn all about becoming a doctor through engaging hands-on activities in this unique summer camp. These future doctors will learn the anatomy and functions of the heart and lungs, what is in a doctor’s bag, and more. Students will go home with models, worksheets, and their own stethoscopes! We will begin with a white coat ceremony and end with an informal graduation ceremony.
This is an experience full of STEM-based learning, activities, and crafts.
Our teachings are based on STEM principles. We aim to ignite the passion of future healthcare heroes and get them excited about how the body works, as well as the importance of health! Your child will return home with materials to show you what they learned. Of note, all the necessary materials for each class are provided to students. At the end of the session, the program ends with an informal graduation ceremony where each student receives a personalized diploma.
Board-certified physicians and experts in the field of child education have collaborated to write our curriculum. Our instructors are well-trained and they have an interest in health sciences and education. They will deliver fun, engaging, and interactive content. Additionally, all our instructors are background checked.
Your kid will make new friends as teamwork, role-playing and collaboration are key parts of our activities. Your child will have an unforgettable time filled with lots of fun, fun…and fun!
