What to expect

Hiring Process Photo
You submit your application. While for most per-diem positions we accept applications on a rolling basis, we do not accept applications for internships past their deadline.
Your application is viewed and if selected an initial phone call is scheduled. This will help determine if you will move forward for an official interview.
You interview. Typically interviews are remote and scheduled ahead of time.
If we want you to join our team, you receive an offer and begin the onboarding process. This will include signing a non-disclosure agreement, which all team members and volunteers must sign to join.
You attend orientation and begin training after your background check!

Working with Little Medical School® has been one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had. I got involved because I believe early exposure to health education and hands-on learning can truly spark a lifelong passion for science. 

Teaching children about the human body, learning how to do a full body examination on a pet, or learning how to take fingerprints in such an interactive way has not only been fun, but also deeply meaningful. It is incredible to watch students light up when they realize they can be the doctor, the scientist, or the problem solver.

Through this experience, I’ve gained a deeper appreciation for early education, and I’m excited to keep helping these kids nurture their love of learning.

Being part of influencing younger generations to pursue a career in healthcare is what instantly drew me to being part of Little Medical School®. Healthcare is such an important field, and influence and motivation are so important.

So being able to be that motivator to children at a young age is inspiring and so fulfilling. The children involved in the programs are always engaged and truly are passionate about healthcare, which makes teaching easy.

Through these programs, I’ve learned patience, leadership skills, and organization, and I hope to bring the motivation I bring to future healthcare professionals in my own life.
