Important note: We post both our public and private programs, classes, and camps on our website. Please be aware that some of our partners/schools are handling registration and not us. Prices may differ from location to location based on partnership agreements, school contracts, length of engagement and programming, as well as number of students. We are unable to take registrations after our registration deadlines. Thank you for understanding!
.
How to register on Homeroom: Find the programs, classes, or camps you’d like to register for from our Homeroom page. Select your program choice(s), enter student information, and submit your registration fee payment. Completed registration forms and fees for all our programs are due prior to the start of each program or camp.
.
If selecting your registration fee schedule:
“Full season” means you’d like to pay the registration fees in full.
“Regular schedule” means you’d like to pay the registration fees weekly (collected on Fridays).
.
Step Up For Students: If you are a Step Up For Student UA recipient, we are a direct provider. Register through the EMA portal first. Then we will send you the details to submit student information.
.
Early registration is encouraged, as program sizes are very limited. If you have any questions, please reach out to our Program Director, Melanie Ortega, at mortega@littlemedicalschool.com

Wilderness Medicine School® Pt I & II | Private

January 29 @ 3:00 pm - May 15 @ 4:00 pm

Time to unleash your wild!

In this unique after-school enrichment program, kids will:
• Learn about snake bites and how to conduct first aid on a bite
• Discover how to stay alive in cold conditions and prevent hypothermia and frostbite
• Create their own animal track models after learning about what animals they might encounter in the wild
• Use tools to tie a tourniquet and do a splint on a “broken” leg
• Learn about water safety and practice cleaning water through filters
• Learn about what poisonous plants they might encounter in the United States
• Create different weather models and learn about natural disasters like hurricanes

They will receive their own tools like thermal blankets, bandanas, winches, and more to take on the role of an emergency responder. We celebrate with an informal graduation ceremony at the end of the program where kids will receive a personalized Little Medical School diploma!

This program is only for students at Grandview Preparatory School.
