Summer 2024 is a much exciting time for everyone, including parents and kids! We will be bringing very exciting programs for our students as we explore the fascinating field of medicine through Little Medical School's STEM-based curriculum and activities.

In our Little Medical School Wilderness and Sports Medicine Summer Camp, students will have fun as little physicians learning about emergency situations in the wild and learn how to prepare for natural disasters, as well has handling common injuries from playing sports. These future emergency medics will be immersed in vital emergency care in remote settings as they explore topics on snake bites, hypothermia, how to tie a tourniquet, splint a broken leg, filtering dirty water, 20 uses of a bandana for emergency situations, how to treat bug bites, and more. As future sports surgeons, they will have fun learning about your hands, bones, reflexes, muscles, joints, spine and common injuries from physical sporting activities. They will also who what is a Tommy John surgery and practice performing one! Students also get to learn how to administer first aid and some basic at-home treatments for common musculoskeletal injuries.
