Little Medical School (LMS) is deeply rooted in Founder Dr. Mary Mason’s love of family, medicine and education. In 1998, Dr. Mason wrote her first lesson plan and enlisted her medical residents to teach local teenagers. This passion for encouraging careers in healthcare culminated in the creation of LMS in 2010. Today, the company is a pioneer and leading developer of specialized curriculum and interactive resources for children aged 1-14.
We offer summer camps, after-school programs, in-school field trips, birthday parties, scout badge classes, and special events that we can customize to fit your needs.

Coming from an extensive healthcare background and being parents, the partners of Little Medical School of Ottawa (LMSO) are delighted to bring this successful innovation to the region of Ottawa and inspire the future generation to pursue a career in medicine and allied health. LMSO was brought to life in October 2018, with a vision to INSPIRING TOMORROW'S HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS TODAY
The LMSO is owned by a team of healthcare professionals who were once inspired by young kids role-playing doctors and decided to bring Little Medical School to their own community. LMSO provides real-world, science-based, knowledge and skills to the children of Ottawa to explore how the body works, understand the importance of health, and have the opportunity to learn more about healthcare careers.
