Little Veterinarian School: Understanding Canine Design!
What child doesn’t at some point want to be a vet? Little Veterinarian School helps that young passion come alive with a fun educational program using role play, activities and crafts to explore the world of veterinary medicine. In this six-hour instructor-led course, students will learn how to take care of a pet and use instruments that real veterinarians use, learn how to read x-rays, about the dog digestive track and parts of dog’s eye.
The Little Veterinarian School curriculum was designed by a team of board-certified physicians and is led by a trained and background-checked instructor passionate about sharing medical knowledge with aspiring young learners. Watch your child beam with pride when he or she earns a diploma on graduation day! A must for young animal lovers!
COURSE CLASSES
Let’s Go to the Vet’s Office!
Students understands the role of the team members at a veterinary and how these people work with veterinarians to help the patients and pet owners. Students will also learn some tips that will help make the visit to the vet’s office go as smoothly as possible for their pet.
Radiology
Students learn what radiographs are, how to take a radiograph of a dog and what are the shades of a radiography
Dog Digestion
Students learn the anatomy of the digestive system, understand how food moves normally through the dog digestive tract and what happens when a foreign body gets stuck in the digestive tract.
Eye Spy!
Students learn different parts of the eye, how a veterinarian would look for a scratch on the eye and about common eye troubles for dogs.
Dog Body Language
Students learn some common dog body postures and what they could be saying about how the pet is feeling. Understand about dogs health and behaviour.
Veterinary Fun and Graduation!
Students learn the types of jobs available to veterinarians, design their own dog toy and obtain their Graduation diploma!

What LMS Provides:
One trained LMS instructor per class and a “Veterinarian’s Bag” activity kit for each student to keep
*To ensure our instructors may provide personal attention to every student, we recommend 8-12 students per class. For larger groups, we will provide multiple instructors and separate the group into smaller classes. If you have a unique circumstance, please contact us to discuss our custom programs.
