July 10, 2023 @ 9:00 am - July 14, 2023 @ 4:00 pm
$430 – $465Conquer the great outdoors!
Our Wilderness Medicine Summer Camp (First Aid Focus) participants will role-play emergency situations in the wild and learn how to prepare for natural disasters. These future emergency medics will also learn about snake bites, hypothermia, tourniquets, poisonous plants, edible plants, distress signals, forest fires, tornadoes, mosquito bites, and more! This is an experience full of STEM-based learning, activities, and crafts.
The students in our mixed-age group classroom are divided into:
- Age group: 8-12 years old
Our teachings are based on STEM principles. We aim to ignite the passion of future healthcare heroes and get them excited about how the body works, as well as the importance of health! Every day your child will return home with materials to show you what they learned. Of note, all the necessary materials for each class are provided to students. At the end of the session, camp concludes with a graduation ceremony where each student receives a personalized diploma.
Board-certified physicians and experts in the field of child education have collaborated to write our curriculum. Our instructors are well-trained and they have an interest in health sciences and education. They will deliver fun, engaging and interactive content. Additionally, all our instructors have provided a vulnerable sector check.
Your camper will make new friends as teamwork, role-playing and collaboration are key parts of our activities. Your child will have an unforgettable summer filled with lots of fun, fun…and fun!
