Because we are inspiring the future healthcare and frontline heroes at Little Medical School, we want to share our unique programming with as many children ages 6 to 10 years as possible. We especially want to reach the children of first responders and healthcare workers, who during the current COVID-19 crisis are saving lives and making sacrifices every day to help our communities. Helping those children to understand how important the contributions are that their parents are making is crucial.
To do this, we would like to offer a special program to children of frontline heroes through our Foundation, Dr. Genie’s Kids. Special educational kits will be delivered directly to the child’s home that consists of a high-quality disposal white coat, a plush “patient” and a Little Medical School diploma. Children will then be invited to join an online course, where our educational staff will lead them through the lessons.
